Gary Sanger


Gary Sanger from Greece, New York. Was a NOAA Mr. Sanger is retired today but he used to be the Lead Forecaster, National Weather Service at US National Weather Service in Hanford, California. Growing up in New York he attended Cardinal Mooney High School which is upstate New York. Shortly after that, He enlisted n the U.S. Air Force and spent a year-long tour in Vietnam. Following his enlistment, he attend SUNY College at Brockport in 1977, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Geology and completed most of hi degree work in and Meteorology. The College at Brockport, State University of New York is a four-year liberal arts college in Brockport, Monroe County, New York. Geology describes the rocky parts of the Earth’s crust (or lithosphere) and its historic development. After getting his first bachelor’s degree he studied Geophysics at The University of Akron, earning his master’s degree. The university is part of the University System of Ohio and is known for its polymer research. Geophysics is a subject of natural science concerned with the physical processes and physical properties of the Earth and its surrounding space environment, and the use of quantitative methods for their analysis. Mr. Sanger then returned to the SUNY College at Brockport in 1990, where he completed his degree work in Meteorology and received his bachelor’s degree in Meteorology the following year. During Mr. Sanger’s time he was a member of several professional organizations, including the American Meteorological Society which is a non-profit member organization that advances the atmospheric and related sciences, technologies, applications, and services for the benefit of society; and the American Geophysical Union, which is dedicated to the furtherance of the Earth and space sciences, and to communicating our science’s ability to benefit humanity. Mr. Sanger also was elected a Fellow of The British Interplanetary Society, This organization is also non-profit and it’s aim is exclusively to support and promote astronautics and space exploration. We are proud to represent Mr. Sanger with his amazing achievements and hard work.
